France, Bardot, and the Bikini
The French Riviera is the story of Brigitte Bardot and the Bikini. The French invented the famous two piece bathing suit (the bikini has a low waisted panty, the novelty being that the navel was revealed), and Brigitte Bardot first wore the bikini on the Croisette in Cannes in 1963 - over 65 years ago! The two piece swimsuit remains a favorite for swimmers and sun worshippers around the world. French Lingerie brands propose a very wide variety of colors and shapes, including comfortable support for larger sizes. Over $350 million dollars worth of bikinis were sold in France last year! From French polka dots, to bright solids or exotic prints, French Lingerie brands offer many styles, and you can count on their historic tradition of making women look and feel great!
